Vehicle Description
CPR Classic is delighted to offer this lovely 39,000-original-mile
1990 Porsche 964 Targa painted in Black over a black interior. This
manual-transmission-equipped example shows excellent condition
throughout with beautiful paint, an arrow-straight body, and a
very-well-kept original interior.
The deep Black paint measures within original specifications with a
paint meter aside from the hood, which has newer paint. The black
interior shows as all-original- the carpet is excellent, the door
panels unscuffed, and the leather upholstery nicely patinated but
still in exceptional shape.
The previous owner commissioned a complete engine re-seal by Reid
Vann Luxury Imports in St Louis, Mo. Mechanically, the car is now
in flawless condition with absolutely no oil leaks or mechanical
gremlins. The transmission shifts with little effort and makes for
a more engaging drive than the many Tiptronic cars on the
market.
This 964 Targa is one of the most well-documented examples we have
had available at CPR in quite some time. Service records date back
to 1991 and are complete through the present day. The records
include nearly every registration since new, all service records,
and all original books.
Factory Options equipped on this 964 include:
425 - Rear window wiper
454 - Automatic speed control
458 - 16 inch alloy wheels
513 - 4-way electrical lumbar support, right seat
573 - Air conditioner
Upon arrival at CPR Classic, this 964 underwent a detailed
inspection. We found it to be in outstanding condition, with all
consumable and service items recently addressed. The engine work
performed by Reid Vann Imports is visually excellent, with correct
hardware throughout. Following the inspection, CPR performed a
complete detail, including a full paint correction and wax.
Porsche 964-chassis 911s are becoming difficult to find in the open
market. Low mileage, high-quality, manual-transmission examples are
the rarest. This 964 911 Carerra 4 Targa serves as an excellent
opportunity to acquire an investment-grade specimen of the last 911
designed with Porsche's original silhouette. This example will
serve its next owner both as an excellent driver and an
appreciating Porsche 911.
