Only 1,700 miles since a body off frame restoration. This Chevelle
has everything you want including air conditioning. Rebuilt
mechanics and restored cosmetics.
EXTERIOR: No rust- new fenders, door skins, quarter panels, hood,
trunk, front header, rear taillight panel. Painted PPG Grecian
green, polished smooth and glossy. Black gloss SS stripes, tail
panel and rockers. It has SS hood and emblems. All new glass except
rear window. Corvette 15x8 rally wheels with BFG 235.60s in front,
255.60s in back. It looks like all the chrome and trim has been
replaced. New correct antenna, dual mirrors etc. The vinyl top
still looks new. The door jambs are very clean and painted very
nicely, has new weather strips.
INTERIOR: Pretty much everything has been replaced. I think the
seats are new, the brackets, cushions, upholstery and all the trim
on them are new. The door panels are new including the armrests,
backing plates, handles and cranks. Overhead the headliner, dome
light, visors and mirror are replaced. In front of me is a complete
custom carbon fiber instrument panel with all new custom gauges. It
also has a beautiful custom wheel and a polished tilt column. The
metal on the dash is painted gloss black, vents and knobs were
replaced. It has a retro stereo hooked up to 650 watt amp, 120 w
dash speakers and 180 w door speakers. Down on the floor it has new
carpet, floor mats, seat belts and an SS console with the horseshoe
shifter.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Year One crate 350 making 420 hp. On top it has
an aluminum intake with a dual feed Holley carb and an HEI
ignition. In front it has a serpentine belt and pulley system,
upgraded Classic Auto Air heat and a/c system, new alternator,
water pump and power steering. A set of coated headers flank each
side. The crown on top is a chrome dual snorkle air cleaner with
Spectre filters. Dual electric fans keep it running cool. Just
about everything looks new- brake booster and master, wiper motor
and washer bottle, horns, hood insulation, battery etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All solid metal that has been spatter painted.
Under the trunk lid and the jamb is painted glossy. It has a 5th
matching rally wheel and BFGoodrich tire for spare. The jack is
new. it's been spatter painted. It has new latch and weather
strip.
UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame for a complete restoration.
No rust, new full floor and trunk pans. The front end was
completely rebuilt, upgraded fat swaybar and tubular upper control
arms. Rear suspension is rebuilt- has boxed control arms, fat
swaybar and air shocks. Custom all stainless Pypes exhaust with
x-pipe, premium clamps and stainless tips. Brake system was
completely replaced. Has disc in front, stainless lines, new
e-brake system. New fuel system- tank, insulators, straps, sending
unit and stainless lines. Bottom of the motor has chrome pan, high
torque starter, chrome fuel pump and chrome flywheel cover. The
Turbo 400 automatic was rebuilt, has chrome pan. New driveshaft and
u-joints. Rebuilt rear end with 3.42 posi, Strange 35 spline axles
and TA aluminum cover. Frame was treated with black rust
preventative and reunited with the body using new bushings.
