For Sale: 1955 Chevrolet 210 in Lavergne, Tennessee

Vehicle Description

This 1955 Chevrolet 210 has the classic cruiser look we all love. And with upgraded V8 power and a custom A/C interior, it really is meant to be a Tri-Five you can enjoy on the streets.

The way this one sets itself apart starts with the paint. Two-tones were terrific to have on a '55 Chevy, but the red and silver presentation give a deep shine that could never be imagined over 65 years ago. Nice panel alignment ensures the sunshine radiates as it evenly rolls across the whole car. And the side trim makes for a fantastic dividing line for the dueling colors. Speaking of the brightwork, it all has the right kind of shine to awaken your nostalgia. This includes the wraparound bumpers, wide grille, and jet-inspired hood ornament. Because this one was built to have a classic custom cruiser style, you also get the right period-correct brightwork upgrades, like the rocker trim, dual exhaust tips, and dual rear antennas. And of course, those polished Cragar SS wheels are an everlasting symbol of an upgraded American.

The red interior has a nice blend of tasteful upgrades and classic style. The two rows of seats have been nicely covered in a tasteful velour cloth that feels extra comfy. The door panels were done to match, and they have nice details, like the bright trim and '55 Chevy stitching at the bottom. The dash keeps the best vintage pieces, like the dual cowl design and bright trim. But now it's also home to upgrades that make this a more comfortable driver. This includes the AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette, auxiliary gauges, upgraded steering wheel, and controls for the cold-blowing R134a air conditioning.

The 1955 Chevrolet introduced us to the iconic and powerful small block V8. The 327 cubic-inch motor under the hood now keeps that attitude, but now in a much larger displacement than you could get in the inaugural year. It's also got an Edelbrock upgrade kit with the polished valve covers, air grabber, and four-barrel carburetor. The consignor states the engine was rebuilt about 3k miles ago, and it you can tell it has the solid feeling of a good investment. The V8 fires up nicely and the rather straight pipes of the glasspack dual exhaust gives this one the proper tune you want in an upgraded classic. This has been built to be an anytime/anywhere cruiser with upgrades like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and the grip of wide modern tires.

This is the sharp-looking icon with the right upgrades to really let you enjoy the drive. Call today!!!
