Vehicle Description
This 1951 Ford Cabriolet is a full custom build that has an awesome
classic style on the outside, a leather-lined A/C interior, and
upgraded small block power under the hood. It all goes to prove
that you can have a true custom classic that's also great for
modern cruising.
Ford made a lot of cars in 1951 because their post-WWII design was
absolutely stylish. But the convertibles are a true rare treat
because the family wagons were pretty much only ones that were more
expensive. So that makes this an awesome place to start for a
custom machine. They really took their time making this into
something both vintage and unique. It has the best classic custom
elements, including frenched headlights, dual spotlights, floating
grille, mirror-like bumpers, lake pipes, side skirts, smoothie
wheels, whitewall tires, and custom taillights. They shaved the
badging to make the body smooth, and then dipped it in a
candy-coated red. A sweet treat like this wouldn't be complete
without pinstriping. And the tan seen here is a coordinating tone
with the tan convertible top for an especially thoughtful look to
this build.
The roof powers down to reveal more of the red and tan style
inside. So this has a sharp look with the top up or down. Just like
the exterior, they kept a very classic look with the factory-like
dash, gauges, and steering wheel. Even the Ford family crest is
still affixed in the dash's center. But they also took the time to
make this a true comfortable classic. Supple leather seating, plush
carpeting, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning really make this
a premium machine. And everything from the pinstriping on the dash
to the B&M floor shifter let you know it was built to enjoy on
the streets.
The engine bay was made to be showcased with smooth inner walls,
polished components, and even custom pinstriping. And the reason
why you'll want to show this off is because you've got an upgrade
to a 305 cubic-inch small block V8. It even has an Edelbrock
upgrade package what gives you a four-barrel carburetor, ribbed
valve covers, and a Performer RPM intake. This tidy powerhouse
fires up nicely and it makes a sweet tune from the dual exhaust.
The undercarriage photos show fresher components that give you
confidence on the road. Plus, upgrades like power steering, power
brakes, front discs, and a three-speed automatic transmission make
it an all-around easy cruiser.

premium. So if you want to have it all, you only have to be the
