Vehicle Description
1963 marked a big year for Corvette. The second generation, or C2
body style was released with significant style changes and
performance enhancements. Chevrolet launched the now infamous Sting
Ray name, attaching to the first ever offered Corvette coupe, and
for the first; and only time in their history, offered the coupe
with a split rear window configuration. The hidden taillights and
tapered rear deck provided an all new look for the sports car,
giving America another reason to fall in love with Corvette all
over again.
This '63 split-window has undergone a recent frame-off restoration
and is presented in it's factory color of Saddle Tan with
corresponding Saddle vinyl interior. The striking unique color of
this Sting Ray captures your attention immediately upon seeing it.
Walk up to this car and you begin to see the absolute quality of
the paint and restoration work. The 327ci V8 on this car fires
right up and the 4-speed transmission and power brakes add to the
fun of driving this collector's piece. When purchasing a classic
Corvette, it is all about acquiring an example that is either rare
or unique. This split-window provides the opportunity to check both
boxes.
Unless stated otherwise, mileage shown on odometer is exempt and
unknown if original.
