Vehicle Description
No Reserve Classics is proud to present to you our 1969 Chevrolet
Camaro RS/SS 496 Pro-Touring Restomod for $129,995! It's not often
that someone takes a triple black, original 1969 Camaro RS/SS and
modifies it to this extent. This is the "Real" 1969 Camaro built by
Bobby Johnson coined by his principle of keeping the body and
interior of this car as close to original while bringing it to a
standard above the rest. Powered by an All Aluminum Donovan 496ci
Big Block with Dart CNC Ported Heads, Twin 76mm Turbonetic
Turbochargers with Custom Plumbing and Exhaust, Direct-Port Fuel
Injection, Deluxe Houndstooth Interior with Custom Roll Cage,
TCI-Built TH400 Automatic Transmission with Gear Vendor's
Overdrive, 18" Custom Billet Knock Off Style Wheels, 14" Wilwood
Disc Brakes, QA1 Coilovers on All 4 Corners, Dana 44 Rear End, and
an All Aluminum Corvette Independent Rear Suspension. If you're
looking for the absolute best packed into an all original RS/SS
Camaro that you can drive long distances with and take it to the
drag strip, then look no further than this one of a kind 1969
Camaro.
As you pop open the hood of this 1969 Camaro, you'll be greeted by
thousand plus hours of custom fabrication that paid close attention
to detail to make this beautiful engine compartment. The powerplant
is commanded by a Donovan All Aluminum 496ci Big Block Motor. On
top of this motor are a pair of ported Dart Cylinder Heads. This
car breathes through custom dual intercoolers and piping to the
76mm Turbonetic Twin Turbos. At a conservative 9lbs of boost, this
setup can easily make 800hp to the wheels on 93-octane fuel - with
plenty of room to dial in for over 1000hp. This air gets directed
through twin throttle bodies and a hand-built aluminum, dual-plenum
intake manifold. Backing up all that power, a high performing
transmission is much needed. A TCI-Built TH400 Automatic
Transmission is connected to the engine by a custom-built torque
converter, and a Gear Vendors Overdrive Unit. Power meets the
pavement by the proven Dana 44 Rear with 3.54 Gears. Perfect for
laying thick strips of rubber onto the road or cruising cross
country!
Just like the rest of this Camaro, the underbody of this car left
no bolt untouch. The underbody and suspension is one of the key
factors of a true Pro-Touring car. A quality suspension makes the
difference between a 50 year old ride comfort, and one that you can
carve the track with. Underneath you'll find a full 2" Boxed Custom
Chassis that has been fitted with Corvette 4-Wheel Independent
Front and Rear Aluminum Suspension, which has been carefully
engineered to fit beneath the factory sheet metal and houndstooth
interior. QA1 Coilovers on all corners keeps the stance of this car
looking mean while performing like a modern day supercar. Turn with
ease as this Camaro is retrofitted with a Power Rack and Pinion
Steering. And when you're in a pinch, stopping on a dime can be
done effortlessly with the 6 Piston Wilwood Disc Brakes behind the
one of a kind 18" Colorado Custom Wheels with 315 Rear Nitto NT555
G2 Tires.

DISCLAIMER:
Overall this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Twin Turbo 496 Pro-Touring
presents itself with show-stopping looks, appeal, and drives
incredibly well with all of the upgrades it has seen. However,
please keep in mind that this car is a complete restomod with none
of the factory drivetrain components and therefore cannot verify it
to be an original RS, SS, or RS/SS born car. We try to do our very
best to be accurate in our description writing we are human and do
make mistakes.
Although this car looks absolutely stunning, please understand that
this is still a 50 year old car with imperfections as it wasn't
restored yesterday and has some mileage since the build. As with
all classic cars, it will need odds and ends down the road as you
begin to drive it more often but still nonetheless an iconic and
one of the most sought-after classic cars that you will be proud to
own and very happy to drive in!
