This 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a very nice and mostly original
SUV that spent its life in Montana. This is a 2 Owner Woody with
good miles and it has been well-maintained and cared for. It is
getting very hard to find these in this kind of condition for a
fair price. The body on this Jeep is super clean and straight.
There are no rust issues with this truck and we found no rust
repair. It is just a nice solid and original body. It was recently
professionally repainted it in its original color of Grenadine
Metallic and the paint looks fantastic! The wood grain was left
original and still looks great and the stainless and chrome is also
original and looks nice as well. The underside is nice and solid.
The original is stock and all original with the exception of the
stereo. It is still in beautiful condition and the original leather
seats are some of the nicest original condition seats we have seen.
All of the gauges are working as well as lights, blinkers, wipers,
heater, turn signals, and brake lights. The Ac is not blowing cold
and the horn is in-op. It is just a really nice example of an
original Grand Wagoneer Interior.
mechanically this Jeep runs and drives excellent!! The original 360
V8 starts easily and runs strong with no red flags and it appears
to be totally stock. The transmission is the 727 Automatic and it
shifts nice. It is mated to the np229 Transfer Case. The 4WD is
working as it should be. The axles are Dana 44's front and rear
with 2.73 gears. This thing is a comfy cruiser and everyone loves
how they run and drive. It has a nice set of the original Grand
Wagoneer Rims with some All Terrains on it as well. This is just a
really nice example of a Grand Wagoneer. We drive what we sell so
that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the
vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures are never touched up or
photoshopped. What you see is an accurate representation of the
vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show you everything so you
can get a true representation of the vehicle.
