Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera
Coupe. The 911 is finished in attractive Rubinrot Metallic (Ruby
Red) with burgundy leather sport seat interior. It was owned by a
single family until 2018 (with two Georgia owners since) and has
only 28,000 miles. The original owner took delivery in July of 1984
at the Porsche factory in Stuttgart as a "tourist delivery." The
car remained in Europe through 1986 - the owner would travel there
on vacation and drive it while abroad. It came to the US in 1986
and was used sparingly until it was inherited by the owner's son in
2011 with 14,000 miles on it.
Since that time it has been exercised regularly and been
exceptionally well maintained - including a recent engine-out
service with clutch, flywheel and complete reseal (plus new oil
lines). A/C has been converted to R134a and is blowing cold. This
911 remains in nice original, unmodified condition. It is largely
in original paint and the interior shows as expected for a
low-mileage, well-cared-for car. There is one dash crack and some
stone chips on the hood which have been touched up.
According to the option codes it was ordered with locking
differential, forged wheels (Fuchs), sport seats, black headliner,
tourist delivery and catalytic converter. The 16-inch Fuchs wheels
are wearing Bridgestone Potenzas. It runs and drives well, making
good power and shifts without fuss. Tool roll, warning triangle,
collapsible spare, jack, books (including tourist delivery
supplement) and service records are included. Clean CarFax with no
accidents. A rare opportunity for a low-mileage, nicely optioned
3.2 Carrera finished in interesting colors.
