STK 2868 2005 Ford Mustang Roush
This one-owner 2005 Roush Mustang GT is a rare model. Per the
owner, there were just over 2,000 Roush Mustangs delivered in 2005.
It may not be in the Roush Registry as a 'Stage 2', but has the
Stage 2 features plus more. Our owner special ordered this Roush
Mustang through Dale Jarrett Ford and was able to create a one-off
entity. He incorporated not only the Roush 'Stage 2'
interior/suspension components, but also additional elements from
secondary sources through Dale Jarrett. With the exception of an
upgraded ECM, this car sits as delivered by Jarrett Ford in early
2005. It has been kept in a climate-controlled garage and has never
seen rain. With less than 3,000 original miles on the odometer, it
is a showroom condition first-year Gen5 Roush Mustang. This 2005
Roush Performance Package was based on a factory Mustang GT. It is
powered by Ford's 4.6L 3-valve 'cammer' engine that sits in a fully
dressed, immaculate engine compartment and produced 300bhp/320lb-ft
from the factory. Our owner installed a performance tuned 'SCT' ECM
that boosted output to an estimated 350bhp. This potent 4.6L is
backed by Ford's 5R55S 5-speed automatic transmission (first year
for an automatic-Roush) that also benefited from the SCT ECM as
shift parameters were recalibrated and firmed. The spotless chassis
is fitted with power steering, 4-wheel ABS power disc brakes,
Ford's 'Traction-Lok' 3.31:1 differential and MAAS 20" spoke alloys
(10"f/11"r) with Nitto 35 Series performance radials. Additional
Roush Stage 2 enhancements add a performance-tuned chassis w/Roush
springs/struts/shocks/bars, Roush exhaust and low-restriction air
intake. The stunning Red-Fire Metallic finish is accented with
Roush badging, Roush window ensigns, Steeda raised hood and Roush
front/rear aero kit. (A side-window louver kit is included, but not
installed.) Sport seating is upholstered in Creme leather and
white-faced gauges that are accented with Roush signature logos.
Convenience features include: A/C, power driver seat, cruise, tilt
wheel, power locks/windows and a premium Shaker 500 AM/FM/CD/MP3
audio system. Roush floor mats, billet pedals and carbon fiber dash
trim complete the interior package. This virtually new 2005 Roush
Mustang GT must be seen to be appreciated. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
