Vehicle Description
With awesomely subtle two tone, a comfy/custom interior, small
block power, upgraded suspension, and an overdrive transmission,
this 1946 Chevrolet Coupe is a true custom that's also a great
all-around cruiser.
An understated two tone is an attractive way to give this coupe
distinguished style. The lighter gray draws added attention to the
shapely hood and rounded trunk, and the full-length purple
pinstripe not only provides a distinct dividing line to the darker
gray, but it also signals this is a thoughtful build. And because
this is a modern application with a nice metallic element and
glossy clearcoat, the full package has a uniform look over the
entire car. It means that the classic rounded fenders really pop
when the sunshine hits the sheetmetal, and it even has the luster
to rival the shining chrome front end. And while you'll love this
for classic style, there's also a modern sleekness that comes from
detail like expertly deleted badging, clear headlights, sport
mirrors, flush-fitting door handles, and frenched taillights.
There's even the louvered hood, large exhaust tips, lowered stance,
and American Racing Torq Thrust wheels for sporty flair.
The interior continues this car's custom style. The gray tweed
follows a similar tone to the exterior, and there's even purple
piping for more thought detailing. A classic coupe like this offers
plenty of room for family and friends, and so it also offers the
right comfort upgrades. This includes power windows, cup holders,
and provisions for R134a air conditioning (will need servicing to
blow cold again.) And while this is nice for everyone, the driver
takes priority. That's why you have front bucket seats with an
armrest center console in-between and power driver seat. There's a
three-spoke sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and the full
dash and console are dominated by a custom gauge package.
The engine bay shows off more thoughtfulness of this build. It's a
later model 350 cubic-inch small block that has a ton of polished
components to make sure it's ready to show off. And more than just
shine, make sure you take note of functional pieces like the newer
brake booster. The V8 inhales deeply with a four-barrel carburetor,
and Flowmasters on the H-pipe dual exhaust makes sure it exhales
with a proper tone. This was built to be a fine driver, and so that
means upgrades like a tubular A-arm front end, power steering,
power brakes w/discs up front, and a 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission with highway-ready overdrive.
