1998 Porsche Carrera 2S

Offered for sale by K2 Motorcars is one of the most desirable and rarest naturally aspirated Porsches built; the 993 Carrera 2S finished in Guards Red over Black amp; Red Partial Leather! Featuring the widebody of the Turbo model while offering naturally aspirated rear-wheel-drive performance, this 993 Carrera 2S remains one of the most collectible Porsche's on the road. Representing the air-cooled 911s final year of production, this 1998 example shows just 15,436 miles on the odometer. It is equipped with a desirable factory Aerokit II, Genuine Porsche Tequipment Sport Classic II wheels, and an exclusive black interior with red leather accents. It is now being offered in excellent overall condition with a clean title, clean CarFax, and a Porsche Production Specification Sheet.

The traditional Guards Red finish is in exemplary condition with paint protective film applied over the entire front end except for the right front fender, which was recently removed for detailing (please see the photo gallery for detailed images). Noteworthy features on this example include a factory optional Aerokit Turbo II consisting of front and rear spoilers, Turbo S-style front brake duct inserts, Euro clear side markers, a Euro-spec rear bumper, and Porsche Tequipment Sport Classic II wheels. Brand-new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires have also been recently installed.

The cabin is appointed in black and red leather interior with Exclusive option codes 09981 and 09991. Red seatbelts have been added along with a two-tone Atiwe Ruf-style steering wheel, and factory options include 8-way power-operated seats, a sunroof, and the HiFi Sound Package. The original Blaupunkt radio is fully functional, along with all other gauges and accessories.

This 993 is equipped with an air-cooled 3.6 L flat-six Varioram engine capable of generating 282 HP. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 5 seconds. Eibach lowering springs have been installed to provide a Euro ride height. This car also underwent an extensive $7k engine-out service at the end of October, ensuring everything is in perfect working order, including the following items:
