This great first year Impala was restored several years ago using as many NOS and correct parts as possible. In 1958 this car was marketed as the Bel Air Impala Sport Coupe. During the restoration a freshly built 1958 casting numbers 348 CI engine was installed, it is finished with the correct 3 2 barrel carburetors. A new gas tank and radiator along with many other items were part of the restoration. The interior is in fantastic condition. Since the restoration the engine only has about 1000 miles on it. The ignition system was upgraded to a more modern MSD brand system and the original ignition parts are included with the car. The transmission is the three speed column shift with overdrive. Almost everything works and the car drives great with no issues. The chrome trim has minimal pitting but does have dents and dings in areas. Overall this is a fantastic drivers car and show car.
