Vehicle Description
The Ford Bronco is a model line of SUVs manufactured and marketed
by Ford. It was the first sport-utility vehicle developed by the
company; five generations of the Bronco were sold from the 1966 to
1996 model years. The Bronco initially competed against the Jeep
CJ-5 and International Harvester Scout. For 1978, Ford enlarged the
Bronco, making it a short-wheelbase version of the F-Series pickup
truck
This 1978 Ford is the Bronco Ford should have provided for the
off-road enthusiast. This restored and upgraded Bronco is equipped
with rebuilt Ford FE V-8 engine mated to a 3-speed automatic
transmission and a 6" lift with Skyjacker Suspension.
This Ford Bronco XLT is riding 33x12.5x15 Cooper Discoverer A/T3
tires which are capable of workday commutes or weekend
adventure.
The rebuilt engine with Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor appears to
have less than a few thousand miles on it and runs strong. The
interior presents very well with newer seats and carpeting as well
as an upgraded Sony Bluetooth stereo. The door jambs, underside of
hood and inner fenders have been treated with a bedliner material
for wear and durability.
Put your foot on the Bully single step, sit in drivers' seat and
you are ready for a run to the grocery store or an off-road
adventure either way this Bronco can provide the
transportation.
