This 1987 Ford F-150 Short Box Pickup is a very clean and solid
truck that spent its life in the West and particularly the Pacific
NW. It is an XLT Lariat so it has all of the nice XLT Trim. This
truck has been well cared for and recently had a lot of mechanical
work done to make it a great running and driving truck. The body on
this truck is very clean and straight. It has a great color
combination of Ford Light Blue and Shadow Blue Metallic. It has
been repainted at some point and the paint is still in nice
condition, but it does have the normal wear and tear from driving.
The undercarriage is also very nice and clean with the floors still
showing the original primer. The interior on this truck is in
excellent condition and it has newer seat upholstery, but the rest
appears to be original. This truck has the Deluxe Gauge Package,
Tilt, Cruise, CD Player and everything is working with the
exception of the AC which was never recharged after the engine was
replaced.
Mechanically this truck is great!!!! It has a new Crate 302 V8 from
NAPA that was installed (Have Warranty Card but no Receipt) and it
has under 1,000 miles on it. The engine runs smooth and strong with
no issues that we could find. It also had new dual exhaust
installed when the engine was put in. The transmission is the AOD
Automatic and it shifts nice and it is mated to the Borg Warner
Manual Shift Transmission. The 4WD works as it should. It has the
8.8 Rear End that is a Limited Slip with 3.55 Gears. The front end
is the Dana 44 also with 3.55 Gears. This truck has a 2 1/2 Inch
Rough Country Lift that gives it a really nice stance and it has a
newer set of Mud Terrain Tires on nice Ford original Wheels.
Overall this could be an everyday driver for someone or just use as
a weekend truck.
