Vehicle Description
Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Tri-Five Chevrolets (1955-1957)
are some of the most popular, beloved, and recognizable automobiles
to ever turn a wheel on an American turnpike. Clare MacKichan and
others working under Harley Earl styled the cars that many people
still regard as the definitive 1950's automobiles. When compared to
today's amorphous styling, it's no wonder that the Tri-Five Chevys
continue to attract attention and admiration from multiple
generations of enthusiasts. Our amazing Sierra Gold and Adobe Beige
(818D) 1957 Bel Air 4-Door Sedan (1019D) is extraordinary for an
additional reason as well; we believe that its 10,317 miles are
actual. Still motivated by its 235 Blue Flame 6 (BCN 3837004, EC
F827B) and Powerglide automatic transmission, this stately cruiser
glides down the road with nary a squeak or rattle. Additional
features include factory power brakes, AM radio, and a new fuel
tank. Clues to this jewel's originality include OEM spiral shocks,
original radiator (3136570, DC July, 1957), all glass has 1957 date
codes (T), both headlights are T3, correct red oxide primer on
pans, no paint overspray, and various labels and stickers. Also,
the previous owner has had the car since 1981(!) and stated that he
had accumulated about 100 miles in 39 years. The pristine interior
is stunning and still has Grandma's plastic seat covers! This is an
amazing specimen of a truly historic automobile. Notice there is a
small dent in the driver's side front fender. Street Dreams
