For Sale: 1992 Land Rover Defender in Atlanta, Georgia

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1992 Land Rover Defender 90, a left-hand-drive Italian-market example powered by a 200Tdi, which recently underwent a frame-off restoration and a complete drivetrain rebuild. This truck was fully disassembled and stripped down to the chassis for a nut-and-bolt restoration; it boasts excellent paint and body over a solid frame with zero rust issues (we have extensive photos documenting the restoration and the overall soundness of the frame, an often overlooked and highly critical component for imported Defenders). Finished in all black, the 18-inch wheels with BF Goodrich all terrains are the perfect finishing touch. H4 headlights, LED turn signals, brake lights and parking lamps (plus a custom front bumper with integrated lights) are a nice upgrade from stock lighting.

Interior presents beautifully with custom-stitched dash, door panels and seat upholstery - plus new carpets and an exquisite riveted wood steering wheel from Exmoor Trim. All gauges, switches, lights, etc. are, of course, working as they should. We appreciate the fact that the original instrument cluster was retained, showing an original 152,000 kilometers (which converts to approximately 95,000 miles) - although given the extent of the restoration, mileage is essentially zero. Per the included British Motor Vehicle Heritage Trust Certificate, this D90 was delivered new in Italy where it spent its entire life before being restored by a shop in northeastern Italy between Venice and Trieste.

Under the hood is Land Rover's 200Tdi turbocharged direct-injection Diesel mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Engine, transmission, transfer case, axles and most suspension, steering and brake components were rebuilt or replaced. This Defender runs and drives as a new. Recently imported and offered for sale for the first time in the U.S. Sold on a clean and clear Georgia title.
