New arrival. More photos and video coming next week.
New arrival. Folks, we have a beautiful 1957 Ford Thunderbird 312
Special V-8 finished in black with red interior. This car hasn't
been shuffled around the auctions or traded from dealer to dealer.
It's a local car that's been pampered by our customer. The 1957
Thunderbird was the last two-seater Ford (any model) sold until
1982.
This first generation Thunderbird was developed in response to the
1953 Motorama display at the New York Auto Show, which showcased
the Chevrolet Corvette. We have the 67th 1953 Corvette produced on
our showroom floor. Check our inventory to see this freshly
restored Polo White Corvette.
Here's some preliminary details on our 1957 Ford Thunderbird. We'll
be sharing more photos and videos later this week.
• D-Code Thunderbird Special
• Optional 5.1 L Y-block V8
• 312 cubic inch 245 hp
• Optional High Performance 4 barrel carburetor
• Chrome Engine Dress-up Kit (Thunderbird valve covers and Deluxe
Air Cleaner)

For the 1957 model year, the front bumper was reshaped, the grille
and tail-fins were made larger, and larger taillights were fitted.
The spare wheel moved back inside the trunk, which had been
redesigned to allow it to be mounted vertically. The side
"Thunderbird" script was moved from the fins to the front
fenders
