For Sale: 1979 Auburn Boattail in Cadillac, Michigan

This is a 4-place replica with a back seat, not many of those. Appears to be on a Lincoln Donor Chassis with a strong running engine. Starts easily, sounds good, no smoke. Automatic transmissions shifts through all gears as it should. Odometer indicates 13,265 since the build completed. Engine turned aluminum dash, Nardi steering wheel, and VDO gauges give this a very nice look. Has real red leather, cold air conditioning, driving lights, and a Sony in-dash CD player. This is a very elegant car for its proportion, stance, and classic styling. It has the 'golf door' accessory on one side. Except for a thorough detail generally, the exterior fiberglass has 2 or 3 places that need repair/paint. Namely on the center of the rear upper deck the clearcoat has delaminated and will require refinishing. We're told the top is in good condition, but did not physically see it on this club member's car. The owner is downsizing a private collection as part of a move.
