Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1959 BMW Isetta 300. The
Isetta needs little introduction - it's instantly recognizable as
the most iconic of all bubble cars. Several manufacturers offered
microcars during this era, but a late 300cc BMW like this one
offers the best performance of any we've driven. The air-cooled,
single cylinder engine is mated to a four-speed manual
transmission.
This example has been in a local collection for nearly a decade -
it's finished to an attractive (but not overly restored) standard
in Ceramic Blue and White over a matching interior. It has seen
over $4,000 in documented service by a marque specialist under
current ownership which included a suspension rebuild, brake work,
motor mounts, fuel tank, carburetor work and more. It runs and
drives well - in fact we drove it from our client's collection to
our showroom on city streets where we found it capable of speeds in
the 40 mph range.
A must have for any BMW or Microcar collector - this one is
well-sorted mechanically and turns heads (inviting both smiles and
questions) wherever it goes. For more information about this 1959
BMW Isetta 300 for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, please call
