Nice car.......not rusty underneath, very good body and paint in a deep green (very elegant), beige interior, fairly new tan top. Runs and drives very well, clean engine bay and trunk.
These later cars are really fantastic....the electronic fuel injected 2 liter DOHC engine has 30% more power than the pre 1980 cars with a small Weber carb. And all of the other areas of sophistication....5 speed transmission, power assist disc brakes, well located back axle with a Panhard rod, comfy seats, roomy interior, nice sized trunk with the spare wheel/tire located under the trunk floor, and BEST OF ALL....a top that goes up and down almost instantly with no fuss of bother.
I concede the point, these cars don't have the classic character of an MGB or TR6 but for the enthusiast who wants a classic car with an emphasis on luxury, ease of operation, smooth effortless operation, it is hard to beat a nice fuel injected Fiat 124. And parts are generally inexpensive and widely available to ownership is easy too.
