You do, however, get 40 more hp and an extra 37 lb-ft of torque. We
weren't exactly complaining about the performance of the XJ
Supercharged, but if you're one of those more-is-better types, then
the Supersport will please you mightily. The 0-to-60-mph sprint
takes 4.1 seconds, a 0.3-second improvement; the quarter-mile time
drops 0.4 second, to 12.4 at 115 mph. The brakes are excellent as
well, stopping the XJ from 70 to 0 mph in 156 feet and showing no
performance degradation after repeated panic stops. Skidpad grip,
at 0.87 g, is perhaps the only performance figure that suggests the
XJ Supersport is a 4316-pound luxury sedan and not an all-out
sports car.

This Jaguar has beautiful factory Ultimate Black Metallic paint is
gorgeous and was just fully buffed and hand waxed. The body on the
car is laser straight, and does not have even a single door ding.
This Jag has always been garage kept and pampered its entire life
and really shows. The Supersport 20in wheels are wrapped in
Continental Contact Sport tires have a lot of tread life all the
way around. The car is equipped with the Supersport option group
which includes a beautiful special grille, hood vents, emblems,
body kit, and specially designed alloy wheels.
The beautiful two-texture black leather interior and is all
original and looks like new. The car has all of its original floor
mats in like new condition. Everything works in the car.. lights,
gauges, radio, seats, windows, locks, a/c blows ice cold, etc.
Power roof works as it should and the material is in very nice
shape!
Mechanically, this Jag is runs and drives great. The healthy
supercharged V8 moves this Jag around with ease and can break the
tires loose with a stomp of the accelerator. This XJL has been well
looked after and the overall mechanical condition is a testament to
how nice the rest of the car is.
