Vehicle Description
This 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4 certainly has the look of a means
and dark machine. But more than just a custom cool, there's real
value in a full-size two-door SUV with V8 power, off-road ability,
modern features, and plenty of room for everyone/everything.
We love these full-size Tahoes from the first generation. It was
the only time it was offered in a two-door, and the 1999 was the
final year ever. But more than just history, we like this one for
its level of intimidation. The black is a more recent respray that
has a nice gloss in the sunshine. It goes with the darkened grille,
darkened headlights, and tinted windows to give this one a mean
attitude. Of course, those upgraded 20-inch black wheels show off
the lifted suspension and fender flares to really set off the bold
and dark style. And while this has the look off a distinct custom,
the proper trailer hitch on the back is a reminder that the full
package is for far more than just show.
While the exterior is customized for a dose of intimidation, the
interior remains a stock premium Chevy. It starts with leather
seating, including two well-bolstered buckets up front with
individual armrests. The driver's one power adjusts to the ideal
position. And you have a tilt steering column and full gauge
package to give you a commanding view. You also have all the best
features within an easy reach. This includes power windows, power
mirrors, an AM/FM/cassette stereo with separate CD, cruise control,
and both an overhead console and cup holder center console. There
are also provisions for features like power locks and air
conditioning (they will need servicing to fully function again.) A
modern classic even means modern safety, like dual airbags and
anti-lock brakes. This full-size SUV delivers adult-sized back seat
room, and the double doors of the rear open wide so that you can
take full advantage of this Tahoe's big cargo room.
The 5.7-liter Vortec V8 is a great all-around powerhouse thanks to
a hardy construction, plenty of torque, and the usefulness of fuel
injection. In fact, this whole package is a great mix of all-around
utility. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case is a convenient
push-button system, and the lifted stance means more ability. The
independent front suspension is something that you don't get on too
many classic 4x4s. Plus, the four-speed automatic transmission
w/overdrive, power steering, power brakes w/front discs make it
good anytime driver.
This is the last of the two-door full-size Blazers/Tahoes. And
you're looking at one that's meaner and more affordable than most
others out there. So that makes for a great deal you need to get
your hands on right now. Call today!!!
