This 1966 Ford Mustang has been done exactly how you want it. That
means a V8 rebuilt for power, overdrive transmission, four-wheel
disc brakes, fresh pony interior, and much more. So when your ideal
classic is up for grabs, you know it's time to pay attention.
This one strikes the right tone for a classic that was built to be
enjoyed. The Mustang corral grille, chrome bumpers, complete
stainless trim, and polished 15-inch Eagle Alloys wheels gives this
the right amount of brightwork without being showy. The same goes
for the burgundy paint that gives you deeper tone than a standard
red but in a finish that's not trying to be too snobby. The result
is a true all-American Mustang that feels straight, complete,
iconic, and memorable.
There was a big investment all around the car between 2015 and
2019, and we can even show that there was $3k spent just inside the
car. It starts with new upholstery where they took the desirable
Pony premium package and upgraded with a fresh feeling and plenty
of modern seat bolstering. It kicks off a full burgundy and cream
two-tone that coordinates with the door panels, carpeting,
headliner, and dash. And we especially like this style on the TMI
custom center console with cup holders, armrest, and extra storage.
It really makes this classic Mustang a terrifically comfortable
cruiser. And you get to upgrade to the best in driving music with
the retro-style AM/FM digital tuner that now features modern
Bluetooth.
The receipts invested in this coupe total nearly $15k, and at the
heart of that is a full engine rebuild. This 289 cubic-inch V8 now
features a .40 over bore, and it has the right performance pieces,
like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer 289
intake, and a stainless dual exhaust. Plus, it's surrounded by all
the right new components, including an MSD coil, Pertronix
distributor, alternator, starter, master cylinder, gas tank, and an
aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The transmission has been
upgraded to a four-speed automatic unit with overdrive to make it
easy to enjoy this coupe near or far. And with power steering,
newer tires, and upgrade four-wheel power disc brakes, this is the
kind of pony car that can confidently gallop.
Complete with owner's manual, the first-generation Ford Mustang is
a true classic car for those who like driving. We know you're
dreaming about comfortably showing up everywhere in one of the most
memorable cars ever, but there's only one up for grabs. Call
