This is a high quality build. Detailed like a show car but made to
be driven. Very cool independent suspension Jaguar rear end.
Underneath is chrome and gloss paint.
EXTERIOR: Gibbons chopped 3 window coupe. It is slick and smooth,
concealed hinges and remote suicide doors. The paint is like red
glass. Very well down painted flames and old school type pin
stripe. Turn signals are built into the headlights. Taillights are
flush mounted with billet bezels. New smoked glass. Highly polished
staggered size Torque Thrust wheels.
INTERIOR: The 2 sport seats are genuine leather. The entire inside
of the cabin and door panels are upholstered to match. It has
deadbolt locks to secure the doors once inside. There is an
overhead console with a stereo, the speakers are hidden. It has a
polished tilt column with a leather grip wheel. A mini console has
the power window switches and a shifter sticking out of it with an
8 ball shifter. The dash has a matched set of VDO gauges in an
aluminum panel. It also has seat belts, a batrery kill switch,
matching floor mats and a 12 volt receptacle.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Completely rebuilt, balanced, decked and
magnafluxed 327 motor. Only 1,500 miles on the motor. New pistons,
bearings, bored 30 over, gear drive timing, Comp Thumper cam. The
heads were resurfaced and given a valve job. On top it has a $2,800
three duece carb and intake set up. The carbs are chrome, it has
Lokar throttle. Vintage Air heat and a/c system. Chrome high output
alternator.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk lid has a power lift. It is completely
upholstered and carpeted. The battery and fuel filler is located in
the trunk
UNDERSIDE: The bottom of this car is beautiful. The floors and
frame are smooth gloss red and there's no shortage of chrome.
Upfront the suspension and steering is entirely chromed- tubular
drop axle, shocks, transverse spring, steering bars, trailing arms,
steering dampener, hardware etc. It has rack & pinion steering. The
disc brakes have billet calipers and backing plates, the hoses are
braided stainless. It back it has something cool- an independent
suspension with inboard disc brakes from a Jaguar. All the control
arms are chrome. The axles and center section is aluminum with a
chrome finned cover. It has adjustable coil over gas shocks. The
brakes have billet calipers. The bottom of the motor has a chrome
oil pan and inspection cover, aluminum high torque starter. The
turbo 350 automatic has an aluminum finned oil pan, an external
finned oil cooler with stainless braided hoses. The fuel system has
a chrome filter, Holley electric pump, stainless braided hoses and
premium fittings. It also has a billet Wilwood master cylinder,
remote battery terminals and a back up door release. The exhaust
was neatly installed and has welded joints.
I bought this from an individual, this car was his pride and joy. I
definitely got the sense it is a good, reliable car. It's
beautiful!
