Vehicle Description
1941 FORD PICKUP STREET ROD C-850 1941 was a very good year for the
auto industry and it seemed like Ford just could not make a
bad-looking vehicle that year. This 1941 Ford Pickup takes all the
timeless styling cues from the legendary 1940 Ford passenger cars,
and adds an eye-catching paint job, comfortable A/C interior, and a
newly rebuilt Ford 351 Windsor V8 under the hood to create one
heck-of-a good looking pre-war pickup! Is there really any other
color for one of these trucks beyond a deep red? It looks so right
that you'd be crazy to try anything else. At Ford, trucks took the
front-end styling of the previous years passenger car models, and
interestingly enough this truck has a 39 Ford body front end. The
result is a classic look that remains popular with hobbyists of all
ages, and one that is ripe for updating into a killer street rod
such as this. Its all steel, too, which is getting harder to find
all the time, and with features like minimized nerf bar bumpers,
various underglow lights, Full TCI Chassis, bluetooth and a front
facing camera for checking those curbs, this little Ford is as
slick as can be. The oak bed is full of handsome varnished planks
with contrasting chrome strips. As timeless as the exterior seems,
the black interior with red stitching complements it perfectly. The
bench seat looks appropriate for 1941. It was all installed at the
time of the build, of course, with a few pieces of brightwork
throughout the cab. New Mooneyes Instruments that have a vintage
look, and a nice leather wrapped chrome steering wheel on an
aftermarket column that gives the driver a lot more room inside.
Vintage A/C makes this a go-anywhere cruiser and a Kenwood
AM/FM/CD/AUX head unit under the drivers seat allows for tunes.
There is also power windows and a cab with a taut headliner above
means someone was thinking about driving this truck in the real
world when it went together. For power, it runs a newly rebuilt
Ford 351 Windsor V8 and a C-4 Automatic Transmission. While it sure
looks like a trailer queen under the hood, this truck was really
built to run and it just wouldn't do to have a truck this visible
breaking down by the side of the road. It features a modern
electronically adjustable FITECH fuel-injection system, an
Edelbrock manifold and custom made vintage style air filter adorned
with beautiful pinstriping. Additionally, it has a March
Performance serpentine system, a modern alternator and ignition
system, and dual exhaust underneath. The cooling system starts with
a giant aluminum radiator and includes a big electric cooling fan.
The front suspension is a modern independent setup with tubular
control arms and power rack-and-pinion steering, while out back you
get solid axle leaf spring suspension with Ford 9 inch
posi-traction rear-end. Polished aluminum wheels look slick and
show off the power 4-wheel disc brakes and they carry staggered
195/60/15 front and 225/65/17 BFGoodrich Comp radials that give it
just a bit of a rake. NEW features include: TCI Chassis, chrome,
wheels, tires, windows, gauges, door locks, battery, March
Performance serpentine system, stereo, gas tank, radiator, wiring,
oak wood in bed with chrome, as well as fresh engine rebuild. This
is a really neat truck, done the way you'd want it, with LESS THAN
267 miles on the new running gear! Given the values on the
passenger car versions, it wont be a surprise to see a SOLD sign on
this one very soon. Call today! ***If you are viewing this on
