1931 Ford Roadster For Sale - All Steel Body, Complete Ground Up

Ford Roadster Hot rod culture started in the early 1930s when
enthusiasts in Southern California started modifying their cars and
racing them on dry lake beds and beaches. Modified to reduce
weight, the original hot rods were typically vintage Ford Model Ts,
Model As and Model Bs. These cars were quite often channeled,
relieved of excess pieces like hoods and windshields, and given a
proper engine tune or different block all together to increase
their power output. Today enthusiasts are modifying Hot Rods like
this 1931 Ford Roadster with the addition of modern performance and
amenities. Starting with a brand-new Brookville steel body, this
roadster was primed, block sanded, and painted in a stunning shade
of Burnt Orange. The front end has also been updated to 1932
styling. Like traditional Hot Rods, the front fenders flow into the
running boards before joining with the rear fenders. Neat touches
include headlights that mount on each side of the grille with a
chrome bar, a classic "V-8" emblem up front, dual exhaust tips that
turn down below the chrome rear bumper and custom tail lights.
Inside, the tan interior has been modernized with a Flaming River
tilt steering column, leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel,
five-gauge center instrument cluster and a dash panel painted in
Burnt Orange to match the exterior. The trunk has also been
finished and detailed with carpeting and upholstery identical to
the interior. Between the hood panels is a flathead Ford V-8 topped
by a Holley 4-barrel carburetor. The engine has also been detailed
with a polished-aluminum intake and alternator, oval open-element
air cleaner and plenty of chrome. An automatic transmission
transmits the power to the rear end. Ready to show or drive with
the top on or off, this glistening steel 1931 Ford Roadster Street
