Vehicle Description
Please take a good look at this senior-owned car. 1939 Ford Deluxe
Sedan. What is most striking about this car is its age and low
mileage, it doesn't have what I consider to be the 'usual issues'
of dead paint, thread-bare interior, broken steering wheel' etc.
The car is a beautiful Black Paint - 2-stage base/clear and done to
a very period-correct standard. It's now overly show quality or
even flawed, but it IS exceptionally well done in all areas with no
rust, collision or unusual panel alignment etc. All the chrome
brightwork and trim are present and undamaged-------Not even any
pitting of the bumpers etc. (very hard to find in this condition).
The tan cloth interior has no signs of wear. I'd swear it were
original for the low miles, except that the owner told me his
friend (prior owner who passed) had it all professionally replaced.
The steering wheel is considered a 'Banjo-style' and except for
some scratches from age, it's not broken or missing any pieces. All
the glass is good/undamaged. The engine bay is clean, dry, and
looks as you might expect a nice car to be in 1939. There's always
room to improve anything, but why would you? Engine starts easily.
Transmission shifts flawlessly (3 speed on the floor). The seller's
friend/owner says these were the original 'rum
runners'-------------but this one has been well cared for over the
years. The tires are good. Undercarriage is clean/dry. He knows
these are often customized for their classic styling but it's nice
to enjoy this one as all original for its merits. Senior Owner(s)
are selling due to health issues. Please Note The Following
