32-Valve Bi-Turbo Aluminum V8. This motor sends all 429 horsepower
to the rear wheels through a 7-speed driver adaptive transmission,
thus rocketing this vehicle from 0-60mph in a mere 4.9 seconds. For
superior ride quality and steering dynamics, Mercedes fitted their
flagship sedan with an AIRMATIC air suspension system with active
dampening. With disc brakes at all four corners and dual exhaust

in options. The P02 premium package included Drive-Dynamic
multi-contour heated, ventilated, and massage front seats. This
package also included keyless-go, and PARKTRONIC (parking guidance
with rearview camera). In addition to the premium package power,
rear window sunshades and a panoramic sunroof were also optioned on
the vehicle. The final two option packages installed on this
example are the driver assistance package and the sport package.
The driver assistance package included DISTRONIC PLUS adaptive
cruise control, active blindspot monitoring, and active lane
assist. Included in the sport package are 19-inch AMG triple

crumple zones surrounding a steel-reinforced cabin. Adaptive
dual-stage front airbags were standard along with side airbags in
the front and rear. NECK-PRO active head restraints work to reduce
the damage caused by whiplash. As with any modern vehicle anti-lock
brakes and stability control are standard as well.
