Vehicle Description
This 1949 Chevy 3100 short-bed 5-window pickup has been recently
restored and upgraded with a 5.3-liter 8-cylinder LS engine, 4L60E
automatic transmission and air-ride suspension, which is controlled
by a wireless handheld from airlift management. The pickup has
independent front suspension, triangular 4-link rear suspension,
power steering and power disc brakes. The truck has been painted in
Medium Poly Metallic Green paint and features an all-new complete
sheet metal bed from MAR-K with stake pocket delete and capped bed
rails, as well as a new set of smooth running boards. The bed wood
is curly maple that has been stained in Smoked Mocha with three
coats of satin clear, finished off with boltless stainless bed
strips and rear chain covers upholstered in plaid. The truck has
one-piece door glass and all-new smoked glass and precision seals
throughout. The outside door handles are true billet handles from
LS Fab. The interior features a black bolstered seat with
Highlander Avocado Green plaid inserts and cup holder, wrapped
dash, Vintage Air heating and cooling system, tilt column with
custom D-shaped steering wheel and Classic Instruments gauges. The
fuel tank has been moved under the bed with an easy filler inside
the bed. The pickup rolls on a custom set of U.S. Mags Bonneville
billet wheels in an 18/20 stagger with new tires.
