Produced from 1983 to 1996, the Chevrolet Corvette (C4) was redesigned with a completely new chassis and sleeker, more modern styling. In addition, its rear bumpers and panels were made from molded plastics instead of the fiberglass panels of previous models. Even more notable, the C4 fastback coupe was the first production Corvette to have a glass hatchback.
The 1986 Corvette came standard with an electronic dashboard that featured a digital LCD instrument cluster displaying a combination of graphics for speed, RPM and fuel level. It’s easy to see why the Chevy Corvette was often called the definitive American Sports Car.
This excellently maintained Chevrolet Corvette hardtop benefited from a professional repaint by the last owner in 2015 and still gleams.
The interior is pristine, and the Saddle Leather is flawless, with no tears or imperfections. The 16" factory alloy wheels are in excellent condition, and the chassis is rust-free, proving that it was not driven in winter weather. In addition, this vehicle comes with its original owner’s manual. The 86,690 miles are original, too.
According to the registration papers, the former owner acquired this exciting vehicle in April 2010. It is now offered by his widow, who is looking to sell it in order to settle the estate. This appealing C4 looks great and drives nicely, tracking down the road smoothly. It should give the next owner many miles of driving fun.
