1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird Tribute built by Petty's Garage..
Supervised by the King Himself.. Richard Petty'. This was a 6 Year
Build ...I have every receipt from day one... It was just completed
last year and has only been driven on street to shows and only has
230 miles on it.. This started out as a Completely numbers matching
Vitamin C orange Road Runner, 4 speed, Dana 60 rear car.. with
original fender Tag and VIN Tag still on car.. ' Barn find' Have
all previous registrations.. which is the only way Petty will do
one of these Superbird conversions.. He does it just like the
Factory would of on a 70 Road runner which makes his builds
Spectacular and unique!! Car was completely stripped and soda
blasted and put on rotisserie .. Have Hundreds of pictures of the
build/restoration from day one..Car had open checkbook build
performed.. This Car is Registered and insured and Built to drive
on the street.. The Original Hemi Box Tranny and Dana 60 Rear end
are numbers matching to car and Completely rebuilt and restored by
Petty's.. The 572 Cubic inch started out as a Brand' New Old School
' Hemi Crate engine from Chrysler with the new Oversized extra
strength Block.. Its been disassembled and Re Engineered By Pettys
engine department and Reassembled with Hydraulic Roller Cam and all
the good parts! Have video of Dyno Run and break-in.. Aluminum
Heads etc. also has Nascar style oil pan and system.. Paint by
Petty's Garage is Vitamin C orange with original color to Buc tag..
Paint is SPECTACULAR.. Also has very rare Fiberglass rear deck
lid... Actual Nose conversion is done using perfect steel coronet
fenders and hood.. almost perfect nose cone addition with perfect
working headlights... Lots of parts on car are NOS.. Shifter and
Pistol grip are original restored.. windows and back Glass are
NOS.. Back Superbird glass and stainless trim.. The Wheels are
custom made one piece.
