This 1969 Dodge Super Bee is an extra angry machine thanks to an
enhanced 400ci big block that includes a fuel injection for a
stinger. And with everything from the cool/custom paint to the
upgraded four-speed auto, this a rare muscle Mopar that's also one
impressive total package.
The Mopar B-bodies were the meanest street machines, and so the
custom dark purple seems to set the tone right. It almost looks
like they took the High Impact Plum Crazy color and asked to make
it meaner. There's a nice shine that highlights all the
well-defined creases of this Super Bee's broad shoulders. The full
finish is never too fancy that you'll hesitate to take it out for a
drive, but it also gives a great look, especially iconic bumblebee
rear stripe package boldly contrasting in white. This gets all of
the performance pieces right, too, with the power bulge in the
hood, sculpted fenders, large dual exhaust tips, and Keystone
Klassic wheels (and did you see the extra meaty rear tires?)
The black interior continues this coupe's dark heart attitude. You
paid plenty more for a Super Bee, and so the upscale bucket seat
interior is a fine place to spend some time. A smooth dash, full
headrests, and a center console with plenty of wood-like trim give
it an upscale vintage feel. You even have some nice upgrades, like
the AM/FM stereo w/Bluetooth. But the additions you'll enjoy the
most are what make this one a better driver. This includes the
AutoMeter Street tach in the dash, Sport-Comp auxiliary gauges, and
B&M shifter.
The engine bay was done with quality to make sure you're going to
be opening the hood wherever you park. So the smooth and dark
purple inner walls funnel your attention to the heart that's
radiating with power. Mopar people know the 400 cubic-inch big
block is one of the best motors for a stout performance build. It's
been fortified and enhanced with a 440 crank, aluminum heads,
fabricated valve covers, and a Holley Street Dominator intake.
Plus, this is topped a Holley Sniper electric fuel injection system
to make sure this monster motor has power and consistency. It fires
up readily and makes a sweet growl out of the header-fed dual
exhaust. There has been an upgraded to a TCI four-speed automatic
transmission to give you better ratios to take the best advantage
of this full power upgrade. Plus, power steering, power brakes,
front discs, and wide Cooper Cobra tires are all part of a
well-done driving package.
This is the awesome muscle Mopar with the big block heart you've
always dreamed of building. Don't let something this complete and
desirable slip away. Call now!
