Purchased as a uncompleted project from a longtime owner (35 years) who is a retired Ford Motor Company executive who purchased the car from the original owners in 1985. It is completely numbers matching and original with only 49,000 documented miles. When he originally purchased the car it was in very good original condition with minimal rust but in need of restoration and deservedly so. He completely disassembled the car and sent off to a professional restoration shop to be taken off the frame and repainted in it's original color ''Winter Blue'' with blacked out hood The floors were sand blasted & stripped clean & painted correct as well as the frame and engine compartment. While all of this was being done and even after as the years past, he collected pretty much everything needed to fully restore the car purchasing as much N.O.S. parts as possible. Remember, this guy work for Ford Motor Company. THIS IS HOW WE GOT THE CAR !! Back on the frame, painted, as a roller with a ton of parts !! The car was sitting in a climate controlled warehouse covered and untouched for years with an inch of dust and 4 flat tires. We immediately washed the car and went threw every box to see exactly what we have to work with. We found a new shaker assembly, new rear louvers, a new rim blow steering wheel all in their original Ford boxes and that is just to name a few items. We recently sent the numbers matching 428 Cobra Jet engine off to our machine shop to be completely rebuilt and we sent the 4 speed transmission which was already rebuilt to our trans guy for inspection. We will be starting to assemble the car soon so look for updates and more pictures. We are willing to take a hold deposit from any perspective buyers now prior to completion.
