Vehicle Description
Here is a really stunning looking Rolls-Royce Silver Spur II
finished in 2-tone Silver over Graphite (both metallic) with
mushroom-grey Connolly hides accented by dark grey seat piping and
trims. The twin fine lines to the waist-rails and hubcap beauty
rings are a hand-painted combination of red and charcoal. This is a
genuine 2-owner Rolls-Royce having spent most of its life in
California, so very clean and rust-free. Having travelled a
modestly low 54,000 miles, she has a clean and blemish-free
Auto-check report. This is a 30,000 series SZ so it has many
upgrades over the 81-90 cars. For example, the car has rear
electric seats in addition to the front electrically operated ones.
We also have a set of Euro-style full rectangular headlamps to fit
if your prefer that option so please enquire at time of purchase
(this is an added cost). This Spur II is very well known to us
having been fully maintained whereby everything and anything needed
to be done has been done so without sparing expense. Every service
is completely up to date. A sign of a perfectionist owned example
is always the fitment of factory preferred Avon Turbosteel
whitewall tyres. These are expensive (approximately $2,000 per set)
and so quite often, many owners do tend to go for lower cost
alternatives. No tyre rides better than on Avons. The body of the
car is straight and the paint in excellent condition. It appears to
be mostly original and is consistent and very deep in lustre and
shine. There are hardly any notable chips and marks other than very
minor ones here and there but these are few and only show if one
looks hard. Otherwise it is very shiny without any fading, dents or
dings. Rubbers, mouldings, badges and external fittings are all in
excellent condition. (The bonnet of the car was not fully secured
at the time of photographs - I do apologise to all viewers) The
interior of this car is stunning. The Connolly leather shows
beautifully and is completely original. It has never been re-dyed
or messed with and yet remains very soft and supple without any
signs of typical wear. The rear parcel shelf and dash has no
"pulling" of the leather which is often seen on these cars. The
wood throughout is excellent and can comfortably be described as
close to perfect showing almost no lacquer cracks, chips or marks.
And, of course, the 30,000 series cars have the beautiful teak
in-lay that is truly in tune with the best of wood-working
craftsmanship. Carpets, seats, dash, front top-roll, rear parcel
shelf and fixtures are truly excellent and I best encourage you to
look at all the photos to fully appreciate how nicely the interior
presents. As part of Park-Ward's maintenance program, all
electricals and features & functions have been inspected so
everything is operating as it should; windows, seats, mirrors, A/C,
heater, lights, wipers, etc. Right down to every light bulb in the
dash. This is a true, "take the keys and drive" example with no
additional budget needed to attend to any nuances or gremlins.
Being a well-maintained example. It is tight to drive, brakes
strong and rides as a Rolls-Royce should. When describing a car for
sale, one should be very careful to use terms like "perfect" and
"flawless" because nothing but a brand new car can be described
this way. That said, this Silver Spur II is close to, is of a very
high standard and is an easy 10 out of 10 driver rating. She is
100% factory original in specification in every respect.
