Coming over the crest of the local sand dune, seeing this fabulous
1969 VW dune buggy will make you feel that you went back in time.
These fiberglass bodied dune buggies from the the 1960's and 1970's
continue to increase in desirability. Powered by a 1500CC high
compression VW flat 4 and backed by a VW 4 speed manual
transmission. The sound from those dual exhaust pipes are
unmistakable as the buggy heads down the road. Stopping power comes
from the front disc and rear drum brakes. This dune buggy runs and
drives just as it should. The vintage fiberglass body is in very
good condition. The orange metallic gel coat looks to be original
and shines very well. There are a few minor flaws from over the
years. The exterior is enhanced by the vintage mag wheels with
vintage ET center caps, the staggered size tires, chrome roll bar,
and the vintage dry brush "star burst" on the hood. This particular
comes with a full vinyl top with side curtains. The new, full
custom interior is in excellent condition. The interior is
outfitted with an AM/FM stereo with bluetooth, bucket seats, side
pads, and tachometer. The fabric for the cloth interior comes from
the high quality "Sunbrella" company. This great VW dune buggy will
put smiles on your face and those people watching you drive by as
well. Here is a chance to own one of those unforgettable 1960's
vehicles that is ready to turn key and enjoy.
