  • For Sale Custom 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Nomad Sport Wagon. One of only 6534 total made in 1957 with a total three year model build (1955 – 1957) of approximately 22,000 and was the lowest production Chevrolet that year and the last real Nomad. PPG Viper red base coat clear coat paint. 1995 thru 97 frame off rotisserie restored and modified Nomad has many added custom options and is powered by a strong 1970 GM 4-bolt 350 rebored and honed .030 over with Edelbrock Performer cam, intake and 750 cfm carburetor, 76 cc heads port and polished with 2” intake and 1.94” exhaust. Summit electronic ignition with magnetic pickup small cap distributor, 6 cylinder position 4-core radiator with 16” S blade electric fan and engine oil & transmission cooler. 100 amp one wire alternator. And a rebuilt GM Turbo 400 Hydromatic transmission with a B&M Pro Super Shift kit and Tork Master 2000 tork converter and flex plate. Hooker headers, 2-1/2” aluminized exhaust with California Boss Turbo mufflers and 4” stainless steel baloney tubes. Original 3.70:1 rear end with new bearings and seals. Denny's drive shaft, new coil and leaf springs with rear spring conversion under frame and Air Ride suspension all around. Power front disc brakes with proportioning valve and rear drums. Rides on 15"  American Racing Torq Thrust D wheels and like new Goodyear Eagle GT II radial tires P225/70R15 front, P255/60R15 rear. Original Sheet Metal with new Floors and firewall. Nice Stainless Trim and new and refinished chrome. Custom slotted grill, Headwinds Tri-Bar headlights, custom fin inserts, shaved door handles (open with key fobs or hidden button), shaved Chevrolet script and frenched power antenna on right rear fin. All new bolts, screws, bushings, seals, weather stripping, grommets and wiring. Seat belts front and rear. Power windows, JVC am/fm cassette Classic Car Stereo with 80 watt kick panel speakers front and Polk speakers in the back. Ciadella Pamona interior with leather bucket front seats. Custom center console with gauges and B&M Short Mega Shifter, custom satin aluminum tilt steering column with Grant steering wheel, custom dash insert. Sound dampening material top to bottom.
