1971 brought us the third generation of Fords iconic mustang. Over
its prior 16 year, the mustang wore many hats from reliable,
sensible transportation to brutal performance an all areas in
between. The larger body style of 1971 gave the car an intimidating
look, and the performance options available backed up its
brawn.
The 1971 offered here was restored in 2018. It is finished in Ocean
Blue and Argent Silver over a Custom freshly done interior. It is
powered by a 302 v8 paired with a T5 Borg Warner 5 speed manual
transmission from American Power Train with a modern drive line
cable kit. Other highlights include a rebuilt drive shaft, new
louvers and valance, rear spoiler, center console with clock,
bucket seats and MSD ignition.
The Third generation Mustang is the most edgy design Ford used for
the model and still makes a bold statement wherever drive. These
cars remain highly sought after.
