Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 22nd year in the
classic and muscle car business. Here's a Corvette that occupies a
sweet spot in the eyes of many enthusiasts. It is not so rare and
expensive that you'd be afraid to drive it, but as a Stingray
Convertible with the original engine there's little chance of
serious depreciation. Our dazzling Bright Yellow (56L) 1974
Corvette Stingray Convertible offers a terrific blend of comfort,
collectability, and fun. The strong running, numbers matching L82
(VD 14S407687, EC VI024CLD) is sporting an Edelbrock carburetor and
aluminum intake manifold, long tube headers, and MSD. Comfort and
convenience features include power steering, power 4-wheel disc
brakes, power windows, factory air conditioning, and a TH400
automatic transmission. Upgrades include a replacement AM/FM
stereo, a later composite monoleaf rear spring in place of steel
springs (8 lbs. vs 44 lbs.!), and 17 Coys wheels. If a more
traditional look is preferred, a set of Rally wheels is available.
By 1974 coupes outsold convertibles by almost 6 to 1 (32,028
coupes, 5,474 convertibles), making this L82 powered example quite
desirable. Our comfortable cruiser runs, turns, and stops as it
should and needs only a new pilot and an empty road. Park this
sunny chariot in your garage and spring is bound to come early.
Ray-Bans and sunscreen not included! Street Dreams (830-997-1950)
is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide
delivery, insurance, and financing options.
