Vehicle Description
This 1978 Ford Ranchero GT represents the final generation of the
legend, and with its highly stock style, V8 power, and A/C
interior, this one really does its history proud. The affordable
price is just the cherry on top.
Not only is this the final generation for the Ranchero, but it's
arguably the best one, too. Ford's LTD wanted to be both premium
and sporty, and that design translates well into this pickup/coupe.
Its Lincoln-inspired marker lights, full black strobe stripe
package, and flared fenders make this look like a true GT machine.
Big chrome bumpers and Mag-style wheels complete this very vintage
and sporty look. The total package is much more in the survivor
realm, which is the kind of thing that gets a lot of us excited
today. And for a lot others out there, this Ranchero GT represents
a clean and complete classic with a price that leaves plenty of
room in your budget for personalization.
The silver of the exterior goes well with the silver/gray interior.
It has nice comfort features, like a 50/50 front split bench with
individual armrest for bucket-like comfort. There's also cup
holders, and the factory air conditioning is even blowing nice and
cold. There's a great vintage feeling with the classic dual-spoke
steering wheel and premium LTD details. But as a true GT, Ford gave
you the full gauge package, including tach, and it's surrounded by
a sporty machine-turned aluminum panel.
Under the hood is Ford's mighty 351 cubic-inch V8. It has a
maintained look with some newer pieces, like the wires and hoses.
It fires up nicely as the V8 inhales deeply from a four-barrel
carburetor. So it has the right power and torque to be a fine
cruiser. That attitude is backed up further by great driving
features, like power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and a
three-speed automatic transmission.
No matter if you love a survivor-style classic or just a
value-priced project, this Ranchero is true GT with a ton of
appeal. Call today!!!
