Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Gorgeous rare 1954 Bentley R-Type! With just 2,323 ever
produced, this is a unique example of a timeless design. With
classic Crewe styling and a voluptuous interior, this Bentley would
be an excellent choice for any Rolls-Royce/Bentley connoisseur
looking to add to their collection.
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Bentley is straight and all the
gorgeous body lines really stand out! Bentley styling of this era
was top-notch, and the R-Type is no exception.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Though this car is certainly not wearing
its original paint, the current paint really looks great. With
excellent depth and a glossy finish, the black and silver two-tone
combination is an essential Bentley look.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior is also in nice
condition, with the seats being supple and intact wood trim. The
photographs really speak for themselves. Sit down in this classic
British automobile, and you'll head straight back in time to 1950s
London where this car was sold new!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood, this car shines cosmetically!
It has been kept original-style, and the engine itself simply looks
classy. Unfortunately, this car appears to have suffered head
gasket failure and is being sold as is. It runs, but it runs
poorly.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: It's hard to beat a Bentley in
this color combination!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The simple fact that it needs
mechanical repairs.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This Bentley will possibly need a head
gasket job done before it can be enjoyed.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car appeals to anyone
looking to add a special something to their collection, or even to
someone looking to get into classic Bentley ownership for the first
time. If you know how to tinker, and want something to invest a
little money into for a classy weekend cruiser, this R-Type just
might be the car for you.
