BEAUTIFUL BARN FIND, GONE THROUGH AND READY TO DRIVE! This truck was found hidden in the garage after years of being parked. We rebuilt the entire brake system, rebuilt the carburetor, cleaned the gas tank, and put a new battery in her and found that she fired right up and drives out strong. Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Super straight body with very minimal rust. The truck appears to have been painted years ago and shines up very nicely. The only noticeable rust spot is on the windshield frame.
- Interior: All original dash is uncut and unmolested. She still retains her original gauges most of which are functional. The original bench seat appears to have been recovered years ago and still looks like new with no rips or tears. Original rubber floor mat is cracked.
- Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in original condition. Windows roll up and down. Windshield crank needs to be repaired. There are a few cracks in the original glass.
- Trunk: Solid wood bed looks nice as is, or a sand and refinish would make it look new again.
- Undercarriage: Solid and rust free frame rails and original cab floors and corners. This truck is in surprising condition with no major rust to speak of.
- Wheels/Tires: Older bias ply tires hold air well but are definitely showing their age. Original wheels and hubcaps are in fair condition.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: The original straight 6 engine starts easily and runs very strong. The 3 speed transmission shifts smoothly through all of the gears. there is very minimal play in the steering. The truck is easy to drive and tracks straight down the road with ease.
- Lights/Electrical: Headlights, tail lights, and brake lights are all functional
- Brakes: Brakes have been completely rebuilt.
