1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ in Scottsdale, Arizona
This 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 has been in the same family
since it was new. The full 2-year restoration was completed in 2018
and has 2,000 miles since that time. This is a professional build
using the original metal body and includes a powder-coated frame.
The FJ tub and all metal are original to the vehicle. The
matching-numbers 4.2-liter inline-6 engine and the original 4-speed
manual transmission and transfer case were completely rebuilt at
the same time. There is not a single piece of this FJ that was left
untouched. The entire body was soda blasted and smoothed before it
was finished in PPG Silver clear coat paint. All badges,
weatherstripping, chrome trim and glass are brand-new. A small
2-inch suspension lift was added to make room for the brand-new
Mickey Thompson aluminum wheels and 33-inch tires. The entire
electrical system was totally rewired, including the dash harness
and engine harness. Every single bolt is either stainless or
powder-coated. The interior is brand-new two-tone leather with a
custom leather headliner.
