Vehicle Description
This build was created over five months by four young students
attending the Kustom Built Cars non-profit restoration training
program. This classic 1953 Chevy 3100 pickup provided a great
inspiration and training opportunity for this group of
next-generation restoration and preservation professionals. Power
is generated by the supercharged 6.2-liter 8-cylinder LS3 engine
paired with a 6L90E automatic transmission that sends acceleration
through a Camaro rear end with 4-link that transfers the potential
to the pavement. All of this is controlled by Mustang II
independent front suspension and 4-wheel disc brakes. This
one-of-a-kind Metallic Desert Sage Green classic features an oak
wood bed, chrome accents, Coys C-33 aluminum wheels, brown custom
leather interior, Dolphin gauges, Vintage Air climate control and
smoked glass.
