This Chevelle SS convertible is the product of a professionally
built Pro-touring frame-off restoration that was completed in 2019.
It's powered by a GM 427/550hp engine with aluminum rectangular
heads, high-flow SS valves, hydraulic custom cam and Eagle forged
rods mated to a 4L60E Stage 2 automatic transmission. It's
additionally equipped with a FiTech fuel injection system and TCI
controller to tune-up to owner's satisfaction as well as a 9-inch
posi-traction rear end with 3.73 gears. It has tubular A-arms,
4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes with slotted rotors and Viking
coilovers. This Pro-Touring Chevelle rides on 19x9 front and 20x12
rear Rushforth wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot tires. Other
upgrades include a heavy-duty aluminum driveline, 4-row Champion
radiator with dual fans, chrome serpentine belt kit and Classic
Auto air conditioning. The laser-straight Chevelle is painted in
show-quality Torch Red with Tuxedo black stripes, a Stayfast black
canvas power convertible top and new smoked glass. The exterior
also features professionally fabricated flushed in bumpers and an
ABC mini-tub kit. The TMI interior has been redone in red and black
and features a RetroSound Bluetooth system, Budnik steering wheel
and RTX Dakota Digital dash.
