This custom 1962 Corvette convertible had a high-end, professional,
two-year restoration. This-laser straight Resto-Mod is finished in
PPG Galaxy Silver with Bright White coves topped with PPG high
solids clear coat. All the chrome and stainless has been
refurbished to show-quality. It is equipped with a body-colored
powder-coated Art Morrison GT sport chassis that features C7 front
suspension and Strange aluminum coilover shocks that are fully
adjustable for ride height. The GM Performance Gen V 6.2-liter LT1
direct injected engine is dressed with a blacked-out Holley
mid-mount front runner accessory drive and is backed by a 4L75E
4-speed automatic transmission connected to a Strange engineered
third-member with 3.70 gears. Stopping this 'Vette is a set of
Wilwood 13-inch rotors with 6-piston calipers up front and 4-piston
calipers out back with a power brake system. The exhaust system is
complete stainless-steel with dual tips molded into the rear body
panel. This custom 'Vette rolls on custom-built 20-inch rear and
18-inch front Schott performance wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich
G-Force Sport Comp-2 tires. The interior is wrapped in a Torch Red
Leather with double-stitched silver accents and features custom
concave seats and a pushed firewall for added legroom. The interior
is equipped with a Vintage Air Gen V Super Cooler system, Dakota
Digital VHX gauges, Autosound radio and a Shiftworks shifter. The
trunk is finished in red Daytona carpet. Other options include a
Pepper-colored Stayfast convertible top, LED lighting and a linear
hood opener. This Resto-Mod was built with attention to detail and
has test miles only.
