1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS in Scottsdale, Arizona
This factory Nova SS was restored in its original color combination
of code-A black exterior and code-749 red bucket seat interior and
is equipped with a 327/325hp V8 engine backed by a 4-speed manual
transmission. This Nova SS was found in northern California in the
early '90s, where it had sat partially disassembled since 1979.
Upon completion of the rotisserie restoration, it was shown
throughout the early '90s, when it won multiple awards, including
the International Show Car Association's (ISCA) Outstanding Antique
& Restored Champion Vehicle, ISCA's Pacific Division's Antique &
Restored Champion, ISCA's 1992 International Current Restored Class
Champion, as well as many other prestigious awards, which are
included with the sale. The car continued to win awards well
through 1993, when it was retired from competition. This vehicle is
equipped with all Nova SS standard accessories, including the
optional equipment such as tinted windshield, custom deluxe seat
belts front and rear, front and rear floor mats, exterior soft trim
roof cover, posi-traction rear axle, vacuum power brakes, front
disc brakes, air injection reactor, vent closed engine positive
ventilation, sport-style steering wheel, push-button radio,
heavy-duty radiator and optional red line tires mounted on Rally
wheels. The engine block, cylinder heads, Delco-Remy starter, water
pump, exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, carburetor, distributor,
alternator and rear axle are all date-code-correct for the car.
