This 1976 Chevy Silverado has been in my family since 1976, and we are the second owners. I received this awesome truck from my parents about 25 years ago. It has much of the original equipment including a numbers-matching 454 cubic-inch engine, TH400 transmission, rear end, rally wheels, factory air conditioning, original paint in Buckskin Light and White, and interior and exterior trim. I have replaced the original intake, carb and air cleaner with Edelbrock parts, and added headers and Flowmaster mufflers. I have replaced the seat cover and radio with OEM type parts. This truck has a recent front-end alignment, and new lower ball joints, and new Cooper Cobra tires. It does have minor rust along the front edge of the hood, and the lower parts of the front fenders, all other body parts are in great shape! The tail gate does have a minor bend in it where the original owner, a homebuilder, had a viga drop on it while building my parents home. By the way, the original owner had this truck special ordered with the ½ ton, big block, TH400, towing package and in the Silverado package. This truck drives and handles amazingly well, given 204,579 miles. This truck has been pampered throughout its life with my family, and at just about every stop light and gas station, I get comments from people on the amazing shape of this truck! The big block sounds absolutely amazing with the headers and Flowmaster exhaust! This truck would make a great restoration project, or a resto-mod project.
