This 1968 Mercury Cougar has only had 2 owners since it left
Dearborn Michigan's assembly line and they both seem to have taken
very good care of the car. It's 289 V8 and C4 automatic
transmission have both been perfectly kept up with and the car
starts easily and runs perfect thanks to it. The axle code reads
"5" implying a 3.00 final drive ratio lies in the rear end. These
were Lincoln-Mercury's first encounter with hide away headlights
and they nailed it with vertical chrome bars in the grill that gave
the Cougars "the electric razor" nickname. If you've been after a
nice classic that stands out a bit more than your ordinary Mustang,
this should a be a solid contender for you. Financing is easy and
trades are welcome, so call or click before the next shopper!
