The car appears to be highly original in structure, features super clean body panels with great fitment, nice mostly original interior and older but very presentable convertible top. This corvette is powered by its 350 V8 engine, desirable 4 speed transmission and rear wheel drive.

This highly optioned Corvette convertible is finished in its original factory color combination of Medium Red Metallic exterior paint over Silver leather interior. Factory options include: Power steering, power brakes, power windows, factory air conditioning, AM/FM Radio, tilt / telescopic steering wheel, luggage rack, rear mounted antenna, console gauges, 15 inch rally wheels with beauty rings, 7000 rpm tachometer, 160 mph speedometer, etc.

The car appears to have been selectively refurbished most notably a professionally applied repaint. The exterior paint shows wonderful, flat and shiny with some minor imperfections / chips consistent with use and enjoyment. The interior appears to be very original with some touch up on the door panels and other trim, the gauge cluster is excellent as well as speedo and tach. The tilt telescopic steering wheel functions perfectly, the carpet appears to be original and possibly the seats. The rear storage compartments reveal the original jack instruction sticker and fuel recommendation sticker. Under the hood reveals a nice and tidy engine compartment that is complete and appears quite correct. The main ignition shielding is present, the air cleaner is correct and new valve covers and master cylinder cover brightens things up nicely.

Now for the good part: This 1974 drives wonderful. It pulls strong through all gears, steers well, nice and tight suspension and brakes straight. A very road worthy top down 2 seater roadster that is ready for immediate enjoyment. This Corvette features just 47144 miles on the odometer and given the originality in many areas (very apparent that the car has never been fully taken apart), excellent fitment and drivability, there is a good chance that these miles are original, but you can judge that for yourself.

C3 Corvettes are wonderful vehicles to own, drive and enjoy. The body style alone was the most radical design that America had to offer. This generation of Corvette has global recognition and international buyers have taken notice. For these reasons, while still relatively affordable, values will continue to climb.
