Car History
We have a two-tone 1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer here at Adventure
Classics that has had some parts replaced and repainted and looks
very clean.
It is finished in dark red and tan over tan and powered by a
5.8-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive.
Engine & Drivetrain
The 5.8-liter Windsor V8 was factory-rated at 210 horsepower and
325 lb-ft of torque when new and it looks original as the day it
was built with the factory stock air cleaner assembly, valve
covers, power steering and brakes, air conditioning, and all the
rest of the factory stock parts in a cleaned and detailed engine
compartment.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed
automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case with
push-button 4�4 engagement and it rides on polished mag wheels and
wears BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires.
Interior
The cabin is upholstered in tan cloth on its Captain's chair bucket
seats with armrests with a matching dash, door panels, and carpets,
the latter of which are protected by floor mats. Amenities include
electric windows, locks, and mirrors as well as front bucket seats
with power lumbar support, an overhead console with a compass and
an outside temperature display, cruise control, air conditioning,
and an aftermarket AM/FM stereo radio system with a large
information screen display.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and a
tachometer along with gauges for oil pressure, voltage, coolant
temperature, and fuel level.
Exterior
The Car Fax shows it was in an accident and has a Salvage title
before it was refinished in Sunrise Red Metallic with a Light
Saddle hardtop and rocker panels with steps.
Exterior features include chrome front and rear bumpers with the
rear having a step bumper, running boards, a drop-down tailgate,
and rear mounted spare tire and Bronco logo spare tire cover.
